We’re spending this week using the 2020 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison. Our unit is powered with the naturally aspirated 3. 6L LGZ V6 motor mated to the GM 8-speed automated transmission , and coated within the gray color called Satin Metal with the Jet Black leather inner surface.
The Bison is definitely an extreme off-road machine based on the currently capable Chevy Colorado ZR2 , designed for severe off-roading, overlanding and exploration. To do this, Chevrolet partnered with American Journey Vehicles (AEV) to add several crucial parts, creating an unique adventure vehicle capable of taking on virtually all types of surfaces. Our test unit is a Team Cab, Short Box pickup. Auto tires are 265/65R17 Goodyear Wrangler all-terrains.
Here’s what the Chevrolet Co ZR2 Bison adds on top of the particular “regular” Colorado ZR2:
The only element missing on our Bison test device is the available snorkel air consumption. We’ll share more information on precisely why that is later, as well as our complete take on how this truck works on and off the road. We’ll even evaluate it to a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon in the mud, so stay tuned for the details.
In the meantime, if you would like to know more about the 2020 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison beyond the particular spec sheet, post your questions within the comments section, and we’ll response as part of the GM Authority interactive evaluation.
