Here is a great restoration tale for you all. Joe Hanna picked up this car as being a restoration projectmany months afterwards, you can now see the product associated with his work.
Over to Joe to explain….
‘ 1973 Mustang Mach 1, 351 Cleveland Q code cobra jet, hurst top loader, 4 speed, all coordinating numbers… ’
‘ I rescued this particular car in October 2015 and spent just about every waking up moment bringing it back to our lives. It was originally an azure glow in color yet we decided since i was keeping it, we would choose Fords magnetic metallic grey. ’
‘ The restoration has been intensive with a complete motor restore on the 351 Cleveland Queen code cobra jet engine. A mild cam along with elderbrock Torquer intake, holly 650 double pumper, plus holler headers in addition to a good MSD ignition set up. ’
‘ Your body work was extensive along with repairs to the floor planks which were too bad, just some little patch panels welded in, nevertheless the car did receive brand new front fenders, doors plus rear quarters and external wheel houses.
Also, the inner front side fender aprons, battery holder and radiator support had been replaced. All new brakes plus rotors staying with stock setup of front disc plus rear drums. ’
‘ I did all of the checking myself except laying down the particular paint. Thanks to some good hotrod buddy’ s that operate a paint and tire store I got that done pretty cheap. The paint work is exceptional. The interior is original except for new carpets and rugs. I removed all the inner surface prices and cleaned plus re-dyed all of the components which makes it exceptional in appearance. Here are some pictures of the car two exactly where it is right now. ’
