The german language tuner has given the preview of its G80 M3/G82 M4 tuning programmes
It hasn’t used Manhart long to determine the Manhart things it’ll do to the new G80 BMW M3 and its G82 M4 cousin. The German born company has offered the preview of its ‘MH3 six hundred & MH4 600’ programs, so called because they involve offering the saloon and sports coupe over 600bhp.
After fitting Manhart’s MHtronik Powerbox, the S58 twin-turbo inline-six goes from 503bhp and 479lb ft torque capacity to 611bhp and 553lb ft, assuming the starting place is the Competition. Using the single-turbo base model? You’re taking a look at about 582bhp instead.
To unlock more sound, both cat-back and OPF-back systems will be on the menus. Whether you go for the former particulate filter-deleting option or not, you obtain snazzy carbon fibre tailpipes. There will also be the option to change the middle silencers.
With regards to aesthetics, no doubt you’ve realized that the mock-ups feature Manhart’s trademark gold decal group. You can combine this along with 21-inch Manhart Concave A single forged wheels if you would like. Carbon fibre aero bits including a new hood, splitter, rear spoiler plus diffuser are all in growth, meanwhile.
Manhart calls all this “Phase 1” or its new M3/M4 tuning programmes, with more unrealistic measures promised to take the particular THE CAR M vehicles “to the next level” soon. Perhaps this might involve the kidney grille ‘fix’, which usually many tuners including Prior Style are already focusing on.
