These days, when a number of guys gets together in order to film themselves doing some thing dangerous, it’s usually to allow them to go viral and have money off their social media marketing page or YouTube station. Back in the days of handheld video cameras and VHS tapes, even though, most folks only actually filmed their silly tricks so they could watch all of them back with their friends and also have a laugh. Just take this coarse old video of a number of friends hitting a massive leap in a Buick LeSabre, for example.
It’s not entirely very clear when this video has been filmed, but it was published to YouTube way back within August of 2008, that was just a couple of years after the web site was acquired by Search engines. This was before YouTube has been paying ad dollars to be able to anyone who would allow ads on the viral video, so we understand the uploader didn’t share this to make money – they will just wanted to share their particular friend’s ridiculous high-speed Buick LeSabre jump with the entire world.
The video is simple and simple. A couple of friends are seen going out on the side of the road close to a steep grade whenever they radio to their friend through walkie-talkie that the road is clear. The LeSabre after that enters the frame in high speed with its front tires already off the ground, launching on the steep grade in the street and landing in the changeover almost perfectly. This leap would be impressive to see over the set of a Hollywood film, let alone on the side of the street in middle America, and we think these good ol’ boys can definitely be happy with their performance.
Check out this particular rather hilarious video clip inlayed below. It may be old, yet it’s definitely worth a wrist watch for those who haven’t seen it yet.
