This years SEMA show, kept at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, will be the stomping ground for the latest plus greatest in modified cars. It can work mainly as a tradeshow, what is the great platform for tuners plus distributors to show off their most recent and greatest wares. This year had been no exception and the muscle cars upon show, ranged from the vintage towards the latest creations.
According to usual, we will slowly drip give food to the vehicles from the show, yet here are some of the muscle car shows to whet your appetite.
Ford Mustang Li (symbol) EV
As reviewed yesterday , Ford came out swinging with an all electric powered pony car, called the Mustang Li (symbol). Not exactly the chest beating OF V8 most would want, as that’ h been left to the 2020 GT500, but this vehicle will behave as a prototype testbed for long term EVs. The front mounted electric engine is claimed to produce 888bhp and may be used with a six speed guide transmission. Lots of drive options by means of valet, sport, track and animal, to unleash different levels of strength. At this stage it’ s going to become interesting to see how well this particular Mustang will go down or not along with traditional muscle car fans.
Ring Brothers ‘ Unkl’ 700Hp Boss
The Band Brothers are staple muscle vehicle builders at the SEMA show plus they carry on the tradition this year having a customized Mach 1 . The car appears very traditional from the outside, but this is how the common looks end. The develop is based around a 520ci. V8 Jon Kaase Boss engine, going through the Bowler-built 6-speed Tremec transmission and also a carbon fiber driveshaft.
The particular suspension system comes from Detroit Speed Architectural, with a cast aluminum cradle in advance and adjustable RideTech coilovers. While at the rear there are RideTech components, together with rear sway bars. Baer 6S Extreme brake calipers sit whatsoever four corners, while the interior will get customized Recaro seats and splash.
Apparently, the “ Unkl” bit comes from a commemoration to a family member from one of the develop team.
Quintin Brothers Auto and Performance broke Dodge Challenger
It’ s not often that a destroyed vehicle becomes one of the highlights from the SEMA show, but this was the situation with a Dodge Challenger from Quintin Brothers Auto and Performance.
The car was all prepped and ready for being a centrepiece in the show, but the car was taken and suffered damage by ramming into a police cruiser just a 7 days before. Instead of trying to patch in the damage, the car was instead proven as it was found, complete with yellowish police tape and even a child’ s seat and junkfood nevertheless in the car. Hopefully, the car is going to be back next year in better form.
