The 2021 Cadillac Escalade is a great luxurious vehicle, but despite the body-on-frame platform and 4wd system, it’s not really setup for off-roading. The standard 22-inch wheels and low-profile all weather tires don’t offer completely grip on dirt, snowfall, sand and other loose areas and the low-hanging front structures doesn’t offer very much clearance.
The full-size luxury SUV’s compromised off-road performance did not stop a YouTuber from the name of Nanu Garage area from taking his for any day out to the dunes plus filming it for their channel, however. His 2021 The cadillac Escalade is really a Crystal White Tricoat design in the Sport trim degree with 12-spoke gloss dark alloy wheels on the share all-season tires. It also appears to be equipped with the Driver Assist Technology Package, as it also functions the Adaptive Air Trip Suspension system. This gives the Escalade a little more off-road capability, enabling the SUV the ability to increase its ride height with regard to increased ground clearance.
Nanu Garage area decided to see how the Escalade would perform on the sand hills at Pismo Beach, a favorite destination for off-roaders on the wyong of California. Unfortunately, he or she doesn’t get to enjoy the Pismo Beach dunes for lengthy before the stock Escalade buries itself in the sand plus gets stuck. A friendly oo-road fanatic in a Ford F-150 Raptor then comes along to recovery the stricken Cadillac , letting them continue on their way.
Many people wouldn’t hit the sand hills in a $100, 000 high-class SUV and this video is a great indicator as to why. That said, the Cadillac Escalade with different tires and wheels would perform much better to the dunes than this share one did – particularly if it was equipped with the optionally available Adaptive Air Ride Suspension.
