The Nine Absolute Worst Muscle Cars Ever Built

How sick of reading, “My Top Favorite Muscle Cars, ” content are you? They are everywhere on the web, to make sure. Since this is my first publish on Fast Muscle Cars, let us talk the worst muscle vehicles ever built instead.

1974 Pontiac GTO

The ’74 Pontiac GTO is definitely widely considered the first muscle vehicle. With such a standard set, the particular GTO was wildly successful. Heading from an options package once again, coming full circle. By this time, the original GTO no longer existed plus Pontiac did their best to encourage our parents otherwise. That’s the reason why it’s number one on my listing of the worst muscle cars available.

1976-77 Dodge Phone chrgr Daytona

Dodge dedicated the egregious act of title misappropriation by taking the name of the highly recognized Charger Daytona and assigned this to its wretched two-door individual luxury car hoping to sell some more to the unsuspecting. The 1976-77 Phone chrgr Daytona was little more than a group of stripes, which is why it made quantity two on this list.

1978 Ford Mustang King Cobra

Here we have an automobile that’s a mishap on the Mustang’s otherwise nearly impeccable history. This particular example of poor execution is a punchline to jokes. The only good thing about this particular car was that you never had to replace the

engine control module

in it. Mainly because it did not have one. I won’t kick the dead horse, so , let’s move ahead to the next muscle clunker.

1976-1980 Plymouth Volare Road Jogger

Plymouth attached the street Runner in a desperate effort to market its abysmal mid-sized Volare sports coupe. The Road Runner was available with the optional 360 V8 that created up to only 195 hp based on model year. Ouch.

1978 AMC Gremlin GT

Upon its launch, the particular Gremlin was a genuinely polarizing vehicle. Some loved the design; some resented it. By 1978, the design had been around for eight many years, and the design had grown exhausted. AMC did their best in mid-season to keep their Gremlin alive with the addition of flared wheel openings, and aluminium overlay instrument panel. The public purchased only 3, 000 of these domestic swine with lipstick.

1982 Pontiac Trans Am

In the case of the 1982 Pontiac Trans Am, what was under the hood did not match up to the exterior. That’s every I have on it.

1978-1979 Oldsmobile 4-4-2

Within the 1960’s, the 4-4-2 was the title of Oldsmobile’s performance model. It is hard to imagine how someone thought title could stretch to the 1978 edition. I call it a big fail, and so it made my number 7 on my list of the most severe muscle cars ever made.

1972 Mercury Montego GT

The design was pleasant to check out, the pathetic 302 2-barrel has been inadequate, especially in horsepower.

1976 Ford Maverick Stallion

This steed was remarkably lacking. This tasteless car is definitely an unflattering reflection of the disco period. If you own one, shame upon you.

Muscle cars ignite a lot of enthusiasm as they present a good embodiment of both power plus visual beauty. The nine lemons we just covered together had been severely lacking in these areas and can forever be considered atrocities in the great muscle cars in my book. In case you disagree with any of my emotions, I look forward to hearing where you believe I missed the mark!
