It’s amazing what you can find under your old Christmas decorations. This vintage 1969 Pontiac GTO Convertible was apparently found in a car shed after sitting for 20 years.
The car is relatively intact, with faded paintwork from the California sun, but needs at least a scrub up all round to get back in shape. The chrome work is in good condition, the interior been very faded but more or less complete, but with tears in the driver seat and cracks in the dash. As with most convertibles left for years that top looks like it needs replacing.
The 400ci. V8 YT Block like the rest of the car is in original condition and he said to be running, but not driven very far to test. Clearly a complete overhaul the needed here.
These GTOs are fantastic cars in prime condition and this one which looks relatively solid could be a prime candidate for a restoration.
