The JK is the third generation of the Jeep Wrangle SUVs. The Wrangler line-up was launched 30 years ago as a successor of the Jeep CJ series. Recently, Jeep announced of the release of a new JK version. 2016 Jeep JK is expected to exceed its predecessors in some issues. But, according to the company, it’s going to be the last redesign of the car. The reason is that the model will probably not fit the future fuel economy standards.
Although some people think that the model is crude, nevertheless, it may be considered as fresh and vivid continuation of the Jeep traditions. The new JK will represent classic design showing all its off-road capability. This car is the only open-air SUV on the market thanks to removable roof and doors. Such a design makes it perfect for summer driving and adventures. The base model will have few changes in the exterior. An inconsiderable design will concern the headlights. However, the Rubicon and Willys trims will get more enhancements including new larger wheels with more robust tires, additional LED lamps for night driving, winches, heavy duty axles as well as new color options.
Interior wise, the 2016 Jeep JK will also offer sufficient comfort and convenience. The seats in the base trim will be upholstered in high-quality silk cloth, while the top trims will get stitched McKinley leather upholstery. A front-seat heating system will be available as well. Engine and specifications
The 2016 Jeep JK will continue the motor which it got a few years ago. This is a 3.6-liter inline-six Pentastar engine. It can show output of 280 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque.
