It’s a well known fact that the Infiniti brand from Nissan Company changed its policy of cars naming in 2014. That is why a name of 2016 Infiniti JX35 will sound as QX60. It’s a full-size and luxurious 7-seater crossover delivering only the best driving experience for everyone sitting inside its cabin. A list of its potential rivals consists of at least four models. They are as follows: Acura MDX, Buick Enclave, Lexus RX, and Volvo XC90.
Exterior and Interior
Starting to speak of the car’s appearance, it should be mentioned that the vehicle will share the Nissan Pathfinder platform further. Its shape is a nice-sculptured and almost classic one resembling the majority of Infiniti’s SUVs. The changes will be seen in a roofline, a larger grille, and redesigned fenders. One will be also able to notice the 18/20-inch alloy wheels with five spokes.
The inner part of 2016 Infiniti JX35 is upholstered with the premium-quality materials (leather) only, delivering a lot of comfort for its passengers. It’s also stuffed with multiple gadgets compiling the auto’s infotainment system: a full-view camera proving the best view of the surrounding circumstances for various maneuvers performing, high-resolution 8-inch touchscreen on a dashboard, Bluetooth, 6/13/15-speaker audio system (depending on a package), navigation and stability control systems, and many others. A steering wheel will be heated together with the first (and the second for some trims) row of seats.
There will be not a single engine option. Except the well-known V6 3.5L engine with 265 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque, we’ll see a V4 2.5L hybrid one featuring about 250 hp and almost the same amount of torque. As a standard scenario, the power in 2016 Infiniti JX35 will be delivered to the front pair of wheels. Indeed, an optional four-wheel driving variant will also exist for those who’d like to purchase it.
